Theresa Wigley

Theresa grew up in the rural Eastern Cape in a family that strove to live a lifestyle friendly to the planet and accessible to all. From a young age she was exposed to a diversity of realities that created the foundation for her deep love for people, the land and the relationships between them. This has resulted in Amava Oluntu, which works to bring diverse groups of people together to explore connection with self, each other and the world at large in a variety of experiential learning programmes that recognise the wisdom that each individual brings to the group. These experiences build bridges between divides of all kinds and promote the stepping out of comfort zones to engage in worlds unfamiliar to ones habitual reality.
