Miila Kauppinen

Miila has an MSc in Forest and Nature Conservation, and has all her life been passionate about exploring nature, our connection with it and sustainable lifestyles. She worked on conservation projects in Finland and central Africa, and since living in South Africa has been involved in environmental education and animal rehabilitation work. With Ingwe Adventures she facilitates sustainability and team building programs, and assists with guided walks, amongst which is Gifts of the Earth walking or kayaking experience in tranquil surroundings. Miila is currently also planning research on human-baboon coexistence. She is a keen crafter, musician, hiker and cyclist, and it is particularly in her heart to encourage and enable children and all people to enjoy nature's wonders and teachings at their fingertips.
