Jesse Wildeman grew up in the Garden Route surrounded by people who instilled in her a love for the natural environment and the diverse groups of people who call South Africa their home. Having recently graduated from Nelson Mandela University with a BTech in Nature Conservation, Jesse is beginning her career in conservation. Through her final year studies, which focused on human-wildlife coexistence, she realised the importance of meaningful nature experiences as an integral part of environmental education and conservation efforts as a whole. Jesse aims to work with communities and encourage real connections with their environment in an effort to foster positive attitudes and behaviours towards nature for the benefit of both humanity and the environment.
