NOW OPEN: Point of Human Origins offers an awe inspiring experience of visiting a world renowned archaeological site with evidence for Homo sapiens occupation near the time of humanity’s emergence nearly 200 000 years ago.
The experience is a dual journey - one in space and time, and one within. Our main goals are to create awareness of the original human design, human nature, the human-nature connection, to awaken the human spirit, and to inspire people to discover themselves and to change the way they behave towards all life on our planet. The base Point of Human Origins Tour is best suited to individuals or groups who are on the move with limited time available, and who would like to visit this renowned site at short notice.
We do not require particular group size to run these excursions.
This tour is usually about 1.5 hours / 90 minutes in duration.
The only access to Cave 13B is via a series of steep wooden stairways and boardwalks (some 200 stairs in each direction). The climb back up can be taxing unless you’re mildly fit.
Our guide is available, but booking is essential.
While our qualified and accredited guides are trained by Dr Nilssen, they are not scientists. If you have any specialist questions, then please email us and Dr Nilssen will respond at his soonest convenience.
